The method behind the ranking.
What we measure, how much each part counts, and why.

Every score on Peak to Peak Host Review is earned on a real listing. We push it through the parts that break other tools: back-to-back turnovers and last-minute cancellations. Only the results of that testing decide where a tool lands.
Each tool runs on an active portfolio — real guests, real turnovers — for a full season before it earns a rating.
How the score breaks down
- Mountain access — 35%. Whether anyone reaches the property when the canyon road is iced.
- Printed terms — 25%. Whether the rate card and the exit clause are public before a call.
- Corridor coverage — 25%. How much of the Peak to Peak they genuinely service, not just list.
- Guest handover — 15%. What a late arrival at nine thousand feet actually experiences.
We do not hand out numbers for a good demo. If a provider will not let us test on live bookings, we simply do not rate it.
